The time in between

The time in between (El tiempo entre costuras) by María Dueñas is the last book I read. A book that I think is very well written, with a solid structure and a captivating and addictive story. A story that takes us through the life of its protagonist, Sira Quiroga, with the first signs of the Spanish Civil War to the end of the Second World War as the stage of her life.

I enjoyed every page of this book that has managed to take me to the streets of Tetuan, Madrid and Lisbon as if I had ever been there.

And I just know that it has been recorded a mini series based on this book and it will be on TV next fall.

And now I am looking for the next book that it will be the one I’ll take with me on vacation. Any recommendations?
