San Vicente de la Barquera

Follow our excursions this time through San Vicente a fishing village in the coast road of the Camino de Santiago.

I have to confess that I was expecting a little bit more from this village but it didn’t leave up to expectations. However, in the old town there is a beautiful church that it used to be the hospital for the pilgrims and it retains the original wooden floor which hold some locals tombs.
